The Rule of 3rd's

ROAD TRIP!

Today Trevor and I embark on the trip of a lifetime. I call that because this is the only time in my life I will be crazy enough to drive to Utah with the kids more than doubling the adults. My sister-in-law, Dawna and I are driving to Springville, UT with 5 kids!! Their ages are 10, 6, 3, 1, and almost 4 months. I am excited to go to Utah again, but dreading the drive. Wish us luck as we try to cover 893 miles of highway without loosing our minds.

Seeing Green

On this 15th day of April I am especially grateful that my little boy was born in 2007.

#3 "Do a Quick Fridge/Freezer Clean Out"

Today we made a trip to Costco and it was necessary to organize the freezer to make room for more stuff and figure out what is in all the Tupperware containers in my fridge. It is not a fun job, but some one has to do it. Now I have a clean oven and a clean fridge and I am beside myself with joy.

Baby Bow Tie

I have been thinking that I need to get Trevor a tie to wear to my brother-in-law's wedding in May. Laura and I found some super cute ties today at Children's Place, but they weren't the right colors for the wedding (black, white and pale pink). I looked online and found some websites I could buy a tie at, but I didn't want to spend $10 on a tie he will probably only wear once. So, I dug out some black poplin scraps and made Trevor a baby-sized bow tie. I think it turned out so wonderful and I know that my Aunt Shelley would be so proud of me.

Haircuts All Around

In preparation for a family picture, both Trevor and I have recently gotten haircuts. I needed a change, something new. I find that when I am feeling down on myself a new haircut will usually do the trick. My Aunt Shelley did a great job and I like my new ahricut. Trevor was also in need of a haircut to get rid of his baby mullet. The mullet didn't seem so bad before he got his bald spot, but lately it has been bothering me, so it had to go. He did great while I cut his hair.

Just a Joke

Thankfully the post yesterday on April 1st was just a joke. I've got my hands full already with baby Trevor. I'm sure he would love a baby brother, but hopefully not for another 10 years! :0) Word of my "condition" spread like wildfire through my family yesterday and it was funny to hear who found out and who was calling who. So, no more babies here for a while and in the meantime, we'll enjoy the ones that are really on the way. (Here is a picture of Trevor laughing and being grateful that yesterday was indeed April Fools Day!)
